Acquisition Guide
The Bulbous Necroray is a mount obtained from the 
Oozing Necroray Egg, which can be found inside the 
Tribute of the Ambitious and Tribute of the Duty Bound — reward boxes earned by completing Calling Quests in Maldraxxus.
Complete Maldraxxus Callings
Pick up Calling Quests for Maldraxxus from your Covenant's hub and complete them to earn the Tribute of the Ambitious or Tribute of the Duty Bound reward boxes, which have a chance to contain an Oozing Necroray Egg.
Hatch the Necroray Egg
If an Oozing Necroray Egg drops from your tribute box, place it and wait for it to hatch — the purple egg variant has a 3-day hatch time, and hatching can reward one of multiple different mounts including the Bulbous Necroray.
Tips
Eggs from tribute boxes are rare — one player reported receiving only two eggs across the entire Shadowlands expansion, so tributes may need to be collected over a long period.
