Acquisition Guide
The Spinemaw Gladechewer is a 100% drop rate mount obtained by spawning and defeating the rare Gormtamer Tizo in the Mistveil Tangle area of Ardenweald.
Travel to Mistveil Tangle
Head to the northwest maze area of Mistveil Tangle in Ardenweald, west of the Tirna Scithe dungeon entrance. Make your way to at 26.45, 54.32 where Deranged Guardians and other Bristlecone mobs roam.
Slay Bristlecone mobs
Kill the Deranged Guardians, Bristlecone Terrors, Bristlecone Bone-Breakers, and Bristlecone Henchfiends at 26.45, 54.32. Bristlecone Terrors will periodically spawn from the Deranged Guardians as you fight through the area.
Trigger Chompy to spawn
Continue killing the Bristlecone Terrors until one yells "The enemy is too strong! Save us, Tizo!" — this triggers a creature called Chompy to spawn at your location. Kill Chompy to cause Gormtamer Tizo to appear.
Defeat Gormtamer Tizo
Gormtamer Tizo will spawn at the same spot where you killed Chompy at 26.45, 54.32 in Mistveil Tangle. Defeat him to loot the Spinemaw Gladechewer, which has a 100% drop rate.
Tips
Gormtamer Tizo is part of the Adventurer of Ardenweald achievement, so the kill counts toward that progress.
This mount can be obtained without being on a world quest, but you must be level 60 to learn it — attempting to use it at level 59 or below will return a "You can't use that item" error.
