Acquisition Guide

The Reins of the Colossal Slaughterclaw is a chance drop from the Supplies of the Undying Army, a Paragon reputation cache earned by reaching max renown with The Undying Army faction in Maldraxxus during Shadowlands.

1

Build Undying Army Reputation

Earn reputation with The Undying Army in Maldraxxus until you reach Exalted, then continue completing world quests and activities to accumulate Paragon reputation beyond the cap.

2

Collect Your Paragon Cache

Once your Paragon bar fills, turn in to Nalcorn Talsen located at the Theater of Pain flight point in Maldraxxus to receive your Supplies of the Undying Army cache.

3

Open the Cache

Open the Supplies of the Undying Army and hope for the Reins of the Colossal Slaughterclaw — based on player data, it took as few as 1 box and as many as 7 or more boxes before the mount appeared, alongside other possible rewards like the Infested Arachnid Casing and Micromancer's Mystical Cowl.

Tips

  • Each Supplies of the Undying Army cache contains roughly 3,500–3,600 gold in addition to any rare drops, so the cache itself is never empty.
