Springfur Alpaca

Search for the Friendly Alpaca across its 13 known spawn points in Uldum. The confirmed locations are at 15, 62 — at 24, 9 — at 28, 49 — at 30, 29 — at 39, 10 — at 42, 70 — at 46, 48 — at 53, 19 — at 55, 69 — at 63, 53 — at 63, 14 — at 70, 39 — and at 76, 68. The Friendly Alpaca appears on your minimap via its daily quest icon and remains at a spawn point for roughly 10 minutes before despawning, with a respawn window of approximately 3 to 6 hours.

Before feeding the Friendly Alpaca, have Gersahl Greens in your bags, which can be found along the riverbed in the 8.3 version of Uldum. You need one Gersahl Greens per feeding session.

Interact with the Friendly Alpaca to accept and complete the daily quest Alpaca It Up using your Gersahl Greens. Do not be in a raid group when completing this quest, as raid group status will prevent the feeding from counting toward your progress. You can use the script /script print(GetQuestObjectiveInfo(58881, 0, false)) in a macro to track your current turn-in count.

After completing enough daily feedings, the Friendly Alpaca will offer the quest Alpaca It In the next time you feed it. Completing Alpaca It In awards the Reins of the Springfur Alpaca. Feedings do not need to be completed on consecutive days — skipping days between feedings still counts toward the total required.
