The Waste Marauder is a mount that drops from Rotfeaster, a rare NPC found in Uldum during the Amathet Advance Assault in Battle for Azeroth.

Travel to Uldum

Head to Uldum and locate Rotfeaster at 68.23, 31.97. This rare only appears during the Amathet Advance Assault, so check that the correct assault is active before heading there.

Check Your Character Requirements

You can kill Rotfeaster on characters level 110-120 that have not started the cloak questline, so you are not required to progress that questline to farm this mount.

Defeat Rotfeaster Repeatedly

Kill Rotfeaster at 68.23, 31.97 each time he spawns. Player tracking data shows his respawn timer ranges roughly between 37 and 87 minutes, with one player receiving the Waste Marauder after approximately 30 kill attempts.

Farm Across Multiple Characters

Each character that can kill Rotfeaster gives you an additional daily chance at the Waste Marauder, allowing you to accumulate more attempts per assault.

  • Rotfeaster respawn timers were recorded across multiple days on the same shard, ranging from approximately 37 minutes to 87 minutes per cycle.
