Acquisition Guide

The Rajani Warserpent is a vendor mount sold by Zhang Ku in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, purchased with a Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale that drops from Rei Lun, a rare elite found only during Mogu Assaults.

Wait for Mogu Assault

Rei Lun only spawns during a Mogu Assault in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. During Mantid or Black Empire invasions, Rei Lun will not appear, so check that the active assault is a Mogu Assault before heading in.

Enter Guo-Lai Halls

Head to the entrance of the Halls of the Serpent in Guo-Lai Halls at 22.2, 24.6 in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Once inside, go straight and immediately drop down to the lowest portion of the zone to find Rei Lun.

Defeat Rei Lun

Kill Rei Lun and loot the Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale. The drop rate is very low at approximately 1–2%, so multiple kills across resets may be required. No cloak questline completion is needed to loot the scale.

Purchase from Zhang Ku

Once you have the Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale, find Zhang Ku at 44.4, 75.2 in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and purchase the Rajani Warserpent. There is no reputation requirement — only the scale is needed.

Tips

  • You can farm Rei Lun on multiple characters each Mogu Assault to improve your odds of obtaining the Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale.

  • No cloak questline is required — as long as you can see the updated Vale of Eternal Blossoms, you can loot the scale and turn it in.
