Acquisition Guide
The Mechacycle Model W is a Battle for Azeroth mount earned by completing the Mecha-Done achievement, which requires extensive work across Mechagon Island and the Operation: Mechagon dungeon.
Prepare Your Gear Level
Before tackling the dungeon portion of Mecha-Done, reach at least item level 420. The dungeon's third and fourth bosses — the green elemental and the Aerial Oppression Unit — are skill checks that will block your progress if you are undergeared.
Clear Operation: Mechagon
Enter Operation: Mechagon and defeat all bosses, including the trogg king, the junk twins, the green elemental, and the Aerial Oppression Unit. The first two bosses are gear checks, while the latter two require mechanics knowledge — once past the green elemental, the rest of the dungeon becomes significantly more manageable.
Build Reputation to Exalted
Complete daily quests on Mechagon Island to work toward Exalted reputation with the Rustbolt Resistance, as one Mecha-Done requirement needs Exalted standing, and two additional items only drop from Paragon reward chests.
Complete the Nazjatar Step
One quest within Mecha-Done requires you to visit Nazjatar and purchase items from murloc traders there a total of three times — this is the only step that takes you off Mechagon Island.
Claim Your {item:inv_mechacycle} Keys to the Model W
Once every component of the Mecha-Done achievement is completed, you will receive the Keys to the Model W, unlocking the Mechacycle Model W mount. Developers estimate full completion takes roughly 50 to 90 days depending on luck with Paragon drops and daily availability.
