Ankoan Waveray
The Ankoan have been battling the naga for years, and with a natural affinity for the sea, training the local wildlife was a natural strategy.
Acquisition Guide
The Ankoan Waveray is an Alliance-only flying and running mount sold by Artisan Okata in Nazjatar for
250 Prismatic Manapearls, requiring Revered reputation with the Waveblade Ankoan.
Reach Revered With Waveblade Ankoan
Earn Revered reputation with the Waveblade Ankoan in Nazjatar. Unlocking Mardiva's puzzle by completing intro quests and then doing world quests yields around 500 reputation per week, and the weekly emissary adds 1,500 reputation, totaling roughly 2,000 reputation per week — reaching Revered takes approximately 18–20 weeks at this pace.
Purchase From Artisan Okata
Find Artisan Okata at 37.8, 55.6 in Nazjatar and purchase the Ankoan Waveray for
250 Prismatic Manapearls. If you have excess Prismatic Manapearls, you can also buy Waveswept Abyssal Conch rep items and send them to a Horde character, where they convert into the Horde-equivalent faction rep item, allowing you to work toward the mount on the opposite faction without completing quests.
Tips
Horde characters can use the Ankoan Waveray once it is purchased on an Alliance character — it appears directly in their mount journal without any extra steps.
This mount is a flying and running mount only — it does not increase swimming speed despite coming from an underwater zone.
