Acquisition Guide
Blackpaw is a ground bear mount added in patch 8.1 that drops from the rare NPC Blackpaw in Darkshore when the Horde controls the zone, or from Agathe Wyrmwood when the Alliance controls the zone.
Check Warfront Zone Control
Blackpaw only drops from specific rares depending on which faction controls Darkshore. Horde players must kill Blackpaw, while Alliance players must kill Agathe Wyrmwood — both found at 49.7, 25 in Darkshore.
Locate and Defeat the Rare
Travel to 49.7, 25 in Darkshore and defeat either Blackpaw (Horde) or Agathe Wyrmwood (Alliance) depending on which faction currently controls the zone. A character at item level 330 or above can solo this rare.
Loot the Mount
Each rare can only be looted once per Warfront cycle per character, so running additional characters through the zone is the only way to get multiple attempts within a single cycle.
Tips
You are limited to one loot attempt per character per Warfront cycle, so farming on multiple level 120 characters is the fastest way to get additional attempts.
