Acquisition Guide

Skullripper is a mount that drops from the Skullripper rare elite in the Arathi Highlands zone during Battle for Azeroth.

1

Understand Warfront Reset Timing

Skullripper only spawns in BfA Arathi Highlands during the warfront cycle. The rare resets after each warfront faction control switch cycle, so you will need to check when your faction controls the zone before heading out.

2

Locate Skullripper Rare

Find the Skullripper rare at 57.15, 45.75 in Arathi Highlands, north of the Go'shek Farm subzone. Note that Skullripper is a level 122 rare, marking it as extra hard to solo.

3

Defeat Skullripper Safely

If playing as a melee, you can avoid Skullripper's two main abilities: move out of Gushing Wound when it is cast, and dodge sideways to avoid Ripping Claws.

4

Loot the Mount

After defeating Skullripper at 57.15, 45.75, loot the body for a chance at the Skullripper mount. Because this is a chance-based drop, you may need to return on subsequent warfront cycles.

Tips

  • Skullripper is reported to be slightly larger than other raptor mounts in the game.

  • There are 6 total warfront mounts available from Arathi Highlands rares — see the video guide for a full overview of all rare locations.
