Acquisition Guide
The Broken Highland Mustang is a Horde-only mount that drops from Knight-Captain Aldrin, a rare spawn located in the Dabyrie's Farmstead subzone of the Battle for Azeroth Arathi Highlands zone.
Check Warfront Faction Control
Knight-Captain Aldrin only spawns when the Horde controls Arathi Highlands. The rare resets after each warfront faction control switch cycle, so you must wait for Horde control before the NPC is available.
Locate Knight-Captain Aldrin
Travel to Dabyrie's Farmstead in the Arathi Highlands and find Knight-Captain Aldrin at 49.27, 40.05. This rare NPC is flagged as Alliance Friendly, meaning only Horde players can kill this version.
Defeat Knight-Captain Aldrin
Kill Knight-Captain Aldrin and loot the Broken Highland Mustang, which has a chance to drop. Note that the Broken Highland Mustang also teaches you the Highland Mustang, which grants the Alliance version of the mount.
Tips
Alliance players cannot kill Knight-Captain Aldrin — the equivalent rare for Alliance is Doomrider Helgrim, which drops the Highland Mustang instead.
