Acquisition Guide
Kua'fon is a Horde-only pterrordax mount obtained as a quest reward from the 'How to Ptrain Your Pterrordax' questchain in Zuldazar, requiring approximately 25–30 days of daily quests at level 120.
Meet Level Requirement
You must be level 120 to begin the 'How to Ptrain Your Pterrordax' questchain. This is a Horde-only questline, though the resulting mount can be used by Alliance characters as well.
Begin the Questchain
Start the 'How to Ptrain Your Pterrordax' questchain in Zuldazar. You can find the Bloodraged Pterrordax at 41.4, 15.4 in Zuldazar as part of the questline content.
Complete Daily Quests
Work through roughly 25–30 days of daily quests as part of the questchain to raise Kua'fon and complete his story.
Claim Your Mount
Upon completing the questchain, you will receive Kua'fon's Harness as the final reward, granting you the Kua'fon mount, which functions as a ground mount despite having a flying mount model.
Tips
Although the questchain involves teaching Kua'fon to fly, he is a ground-only mount upon completion — this appears to be intended rather than a bug.
