Purchase Battle for Azeroth
You must own Battle for Azeroth and have an Alliance character at level 110. The Void Elf recruitment scenario requires a max-level Alliance character specifically.
Meet Reputation Prerequisites
Before heading to Stormwind, fulfill the required reputation and quest chain prerequisites on your account — these count account-wide across your characters.
Travel to Stormwind Embassy
Head to the Embassy in Stormwind and speak with Anduin Wrynn at 52.1, 13.4 in Stormwind. Then talk to Alleria Windrunner and High Exarch Turalyon, or click the two flags nearby, and select the Void Elf as your preferred Allied Race.
Complete the Void Elf Questline
Follow the quest chain beginning in the Ghostlands — wait for the dialogue, use the void rift, travel to the marked quest areas, and read Umbric's Notes starting on the ground floor of the Sanctum of the Moon. Completing this chain unlocks the Void Elf Allied Race and automatically awards the Starcursed Voidstrider, which is usable on any Alliance character on your account.
Tips
The reputation and achievement requirements for unlocking Void Elves can be completed on any character on your account, regardless of faction.
