Acquisition Guide

The Vibrant Mana Ray is a Legion mount obtained by hatching a Fel-Spotted Egg, which drops from rare enemies on Argus and has a random chance to yield this mount among several possible rewards.

Track Daily Rare Kills

Use this macro to check which rares you have already killed today: /run for k,v in pairs({Sabuul=48712,Naroua=48667,Varga=48812,Venomtail=48705}) do print(format("%s: %s", k, C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(v) and "|cFFFF0000Completed|r" or "|cFF00FF00Not Completed|r")) end. Each rare can only drop loot for you once per day.

Kill Sabuul in Mac'aree

Find and defeat Sabuul at 44.2, 49.8 in Mac'aree. This rare has a chance to drop a Fel-Spotted Egg, which can hatch into the Vibrant Mana Ray. The world quest does not need to be active to receive the egg.

Kill Naroua in Krokuun

Find and defeat Naroua at 70.5, 33.7 in Krokuun. This rare also has a chance to drop a Fel-Spotted Egg. The world quest does not need to be active to receive the egg.

Kill Varga in Antoran Wastes

Find and defeat Varga at 64.3, 48.2 in Antoran Wastes. This rare also has a chance to drop a Fel-Spotted Egg. The world quest does not need to be active to receive the egg.

Hatch the Fel-Spotted Egg

Once you obtain a Fel-Spotted Egg, wait 5 days for it to hatch. It has a random chance to yield the Vibrant Mana Ray, or alternatively the Scintillating Mana Ray, Felglow Mana Ray, Darkspore Mana Ray, Docile Skyfin, Fel-Afflicted Skyfin, or Aged Yolk.
