The Darkmoon Dirigible is a mount sold by Lhara on Darkmoon Island for 1, 000 Darkmoon Prize Tickets, which can only be acquired during Darkmoon Faire.
Earn Darkmoon Prize Tickets
Complete up to 8 daily quests each Faire week — It's Hammer Time, The Humanoid Cannonball, He Shoots, He Scores!, Tonk Commander, Firebird's Challenge, Target: Turtle, The Real Race, and The Real Big Race — each rewarding 8 Darkmoon Prize Tickets per day. The two account-wide pet battle dailies also reward tickets: Darkmoon Pet Battle! grants 5 tickets and A New Darkmoon Challenger! grants 10 tickets. Additionally, the Faded Treasure Map quest rewards 100 Darkmoon Prize Tickets and is available once per character per Faire week for any character over level 15, starting at 41.97, 91.16 on Darkmoon Island, with clue locations at 53.25, 60.69 and 52.03, 30.44. The Black Market Auction House occasionally lists a Darkmoon Ticket Fanny Pack containing several hundred Darkmoon Prize Tickets, though it is Bind on Pickup so purchase it only on the character that needs it. Since Darkmoon Game Prizes are now Bind on Pickup, a maximum of 281 tickets can be earned per Faire week, requiring at least 4 months of farming from scratch.
Purchase from Lhara
Once you have accumulated 1,000 Darkmoon Prize Tickets, visit Lhara at 48.2, 69.4 on Darkmoon Island and purchase the Darkmoon Dirigible for 1, 000 Darkmoon Prize Tickets.
Tips
Skipping the two race dailies (The Real Race and The Real Big Race) and doing only 6 shorter dailies plus both pet battles per character nets 87 tickets per day across 12 characters in about 90 minutes — enough to reach 1,000 tickets in roughly 2 Faire weeks.
The Darkmoon Ticket Fanny Pack from the Black Market Auction House is Bind on Pickup — buy it only on the character that needs the tickets, not on an alt.
