The Valarjar Stormwing is a rare chance drop from the 
Valarjar Strongbox, a Paragon reputation cache awarded by The Valarjar faction in Legion for every 10,000 reputation earned beyond Exalted.
Reach Exalted with Valarjar
Complete Legion Storyline quests (25–250 reputation), World Quests (75 reputation), and Dungeon Clears (250 reputation) to reach Exalted with The Valarjar.
Farm reputation past Exalted
Every 10,000 reputation earned beyond Exalted with The Valarjar awards one Valarjar Strongbox. Halls of Valor and Maw of Souls each grant 250 reputation per clear, making them efficient sources for accumulating boxes.
Open Strongboxes for the mount
Each Valarjar Strongbox typically contains 700–900 resources and 600–
700 gold, with a low chance to contain the Valarjar Stormwing. Boxes can also contain Curious Coins. It has been confirmed that a mount and a legendary can drop from the same box.
Tips
The drop rate from the
Valarjar Strongbox appears to be well under 10%, so expect to open significantly more than 30 boxes before seeing the Valarjar Stormwing.Collecting 10 Paragon caches across all Legion factions — including the
