Acquisition Guide

Netherlord's Accursed Wrathsteed is a Warlock-only mount obtained by defeating Lord Hel'nurath, a boss summoned through a Warlock class quest in the Dreadscar Rift during the Legion expansion.

1

Complete Warlock Class Quest

Complete the Warlock class quest involving the green Wrathsteed in Dreadscar Rift to unlock the ability to summon Lord Hel'nurath.

2

Locate Lord Hel'nurath

Travel to Broken Shore and find Lord Hel'nurath at 44.4, 52.4. If you can see a skull icon on your map at that location, you have not yet killed him today and are eligible for loot.

3

Defeat Lord Hel'nurath

Defeat Lord Hel'nurath at 44.4, 52.4 in Broken Shore. The mount appears to drop at a very high rate, and you can only loot him once per day — if no skull appears on your map at his location when he is visibly spawned, you have already looted him that day and must wait for the daily reset.

Tips

  • Although the mount tooltip states it is account bound, only Warlock characters on your account can see and use this mount.

  • This mount can be traded to other players, and a Warlock of any level can learn it — a level 103 Warlock without the related achievement has been confirmed to use it successfully.

  • If you kill Lord Hel'nurath before completing the quest for your first Warlock mount and kill him again the same day, he will not drop the mount — complete the quest first before engaging him.
