Acquisition Guide
The Highlord's Vigilant Charger is a flying paladin class mount purchased from Crusader Lord Dalfors in the Paladin Order Hall for 
1,000 Order Resources after completing the Paladin class mount quest chain and unlocking all artifact traits for Truthguard.
Complete Breaching the Tomb
Earn the Breaching the Tomb achievement on your Paladin to unlock the class mount quest chain. This is the prerequisite before anything else can be started.
Start the Quest Chain
Pick up the quest Worthy of the Title from Champion Cyssa Dawnrose on the Broken Shore to begin the Paladin class mount quest chain.
Gather Barding Materials
For the quest Preparations Underway, obtain a Stonehide Leather Barding, which can be crafted by a leatherworker using 25 Stonehide Leather.
Visit Alard Schmied in Dalaran
Travel to Dalaran and speak with Alard Schmied for the quest The Hammer of Dalaran. Bring him 25 Leystone Ore and 1 Suramarian Sapphire to proceed.
Buy the Suramarian Sapphire
The Suramarian Sapphire can be purchased from the Sundries Merchant in Suramar at 49.29, 74.75 in Suramar. The entrance costs 500 Ancient Mana — use your Masquerade buff or the vendor will not interact with you.
Finish the Quest Chain
Complete the remaining quests including Leather to Legendary, returning to your Order Hall, and finishing Stirring in the Shadows to receive the Paladin class mount and unlock the ability to purchase additional mounts.
Unlock Truthguard Artifact Traits
To purchase the Highlord's Vigilant Charger specifically, you must unlock all artifact traits for Truthguard, the Protection Paladin artifact weapon. Switch to Protection spec to access this requirement.
Purchase from Crusader Lord Dalfors
Once all Truthguard artifact traits are unlocked, visit Crusader Lord Dalfors in the Paladin Order Hall and purchase the Stoic Reins of the Vigilant Charger for 1,000 Order Resources. Switch to Protection spec at the vendor if the mount does not appear available.
Tips
Artifact traits have been disabled, so returning players can purchase the mount after completing the quest chain without needing to grind traits.
