Acquisition Guide
The Highlord's Golden Charger is a flying Paladin class mount rewarded through the Legion Order Hall campaign, obtained by completing the Breaching the Tomb achievement and then working through a dedicated quest chain starting on the Broken Shore.
Complete Breaching the Tomb
Before the mount quest becomes available, you must complete the Breaching the Tomb achievement on your Paladin. You do not need to be Exalted with the Armies of Legionfall — Revered is sufficient.
Pick Up the Quest
Head to the Broken Shore and speak with Champion Cyssa Dawnrose to pick up the opening quest, Worthy of the Title, which begins the Paladin class mount chain.
Return to Your Order Hall
Accept the follow-up quest Preparations Underway and travel to your Order Hall. You will need a 
Stonehide Leather Barding, which can be crafted by a Leatherworker using 25 
Stonehide Leather, or purchased from another player.
Visit Alard Schmied in Dalaran
The quest The Hammer of Dalaran sends you to Alard Schmied in Dalaran. For the follow-up quest A Few Things First, bring him 25 
Leystone Ore and 1 
Suramarian Sapphire. The Sundries Merchant who sells the Suramarian Sapphire is located in Suramar at 49.29, 74.75 — use your Masquerade buff before approaching or the vendor will not interact with you, and note the entrance costs 500 Ancient Mana.
Collect the Plated Barding
After delivering the materials to Alard Schmied, watch the dialogue play out, then pick up the 
Plated Barding from the anvil and return it to your Order Hall to advance the quest Leather to Legendary.
Finish the Quest Chain
Continue through the remaining quest steps in your Order Hall, beginning with Stirring in the Shadows, until the chain concludes and you receive the Highlord's Golden Charger, a flying mount that leaves golden hoof prints while riding or flying.
Purchase Additional Paladin Chargers
Once you have unlocked all Artifact traits on a given weapon, you can buy additional Highlord mounts from Crusader Lord Dalfors for 
1000 Order Resources each: 
Heraldic Reins of the Valorous Charger requires all traits on 
The Silver Hand, 
Harsh Reins of the Vengeful Charger requires all traits on 
Ashbringer, and 
Stoic Reins of the Vigilant Charger requires all traits on 
Truthguard.
Tips
If completing this on an alt, you do not need to redo any zone reputations or quests, provided the required content was completed on a main previously and you have reached your Class Hall.
Paladin players specifically must complete the Suramar Falling Object questline to progress further in the campaign, and should have Thalyssra escorted to the cave before attempting to purchase the Suramarian Sapphire in Suramar.
