Acquisition Guide
The Darkwater Skate is a rideable manta ray-style water mount purchased from Galissa Sundew on Darkmoon Island using Darkmoon Daggermaw, a fish caught in the waters around the island.
Fish Darkmoon Daggermaw
Head to Darkmoon Island and fish the surrounding waters to collect Darkmoon Daggermaw. These fish can also be obtained from Bloated Thresher found in the same area. You will need 500 Darkmoon Daggermaw to purchase the Darkwater Skate.
Purchase from Galissa Sundew
Bring your Darkmoon Daggermaw to Galissa Sundew at 52.4, 88.4 on Darkmoon Island and purchase the Darkwater Skate for 500 Darkmoon Daggermaw. Note that Galissa Sundew is only available during the Darkmoon Faire.
Tips
The Darkwater Skate is a water-only mount that increases your swim speed to 135% total speed, following the November 8, 2016 buff that raised underwater mount speed from 108% to 135%.
