Acquisition Guide
The Great Northern Elderhorn is a Leatherworking profession mount obtained by crafting the 
Elderhorn Riding Harness and completing a challenging capture quest in Stormheim.
Complete Mounting Made Easy
Complete the Leatherworking quest Mounting Made Easy to receive the Recipe: Leather Riding Harness, which unlocks the ability to craft the Elderhorn Riding Harness. This requires a Leatherworking skill of 800.
Gather Crafting Reagents
Collect the required reagents to craft the harness: 50 
Stonehide Leather, 25 
Blood of Sargeras, and 10 
Felhide.
Craft the Riding Harness
Craft the Elderhorn Riding Harness using your gathered reagents. Because this item is Bind-on-Pickup, it cannot be bought or sold on the Auction House and must be crafted by your own Leatherworker.
Complete the Capture Quest
Use the harness to begin the quest to capture the Great Northern Elderhorn in Stormheim. Stay mounted at all times — dismounting breaks the leash — as the elderhorn will run across cliffs, into wildlife, and through Vrykul packs in an attempt to escape.
Learn the Mount
Once learned on your 800 Leatherworking character, the mount requires Leatherworking to ride, meaning alts without the profession cannot use it.
