Acquisition Guide
The Snowfeather Hunter is a mount obtained by completing a multi-week quest chain tied to your Snowfeather Hatchling falcosaur pet in Highmountain.
Kill the Highmountain Matriarch
Travel to the Snowfeather world quest area in Highmountain and kill the Matriarch, which will cause the orphaned Snowfeather Hatchling NPC to spawn nearby.
Feed and Adopt the Hatchling
Interact with the spawned Snowfeather Hatchling NPC and feed it 
Smoked Elderhorn to obtain it as a pet. Vendors near the closest flight paths sell this food, so pick some up before heading to the world quest area.
Level Hatchling to 25
Level your Snowfeather Hatchling to pet level 25 before the quest chain can be completed, as this is required to progress through the steps.
Visit Orgrimmar or Stormwind
With your Snowfeather Hatchling summoned, travel to Orgrimmar (Horde) or Stormwind (Alliance) as one of the quest chain steps requires you to bring your hatchling to your faction's capital city.
Defeat Northern Hawk Owls
Use your Snowfeather Hatchling in your pet battle team to defeat 3 Northern Hawk Owls as part of the quest chain.
Complete Highmountain World Quests
Complete 5 World Quests in Highmountain with your Snowfeather Hatchling summoned out during each quest.
Complete Pet Battle World Quests
Start and complete 3 Pet Battle World Quests with your Snowfeather Hatchling as the primary pet and summoned out at the same time.
Complete a Rare Elite World Quest
Complete 1 Rare Elite World Quest anywhere on the Broken Isles with your Snowfeather Hatchling summoned out.
Defeat 3 Specific Wild Pets
Use your Snowfeather Hatchling to defeat 3 specific wild pets in battle — these are different wild pets than the Northern Hawk Owls defeated in an earlier step.
Complete 3 PvP Activities
Complete 3 PvP-related objectives as part of the quest chain with your Snowfeather Hatchling summoned out.
Complete the Full Quest Chain
Each subsequent quest in the chain only becomes available after the daily reset following completion of the previous quest, so the full chain spans multiple weeks — keep completing each step as it unlocks.

These quest chains are heavily pet battle focused, so players who do not engage with the pet battle system will find this mount chain particularly demanding.
Each new quest step only unlocks after a daily reset, meaning the full Snowfeather Hunter chain takes at minimum several weeks to complete.
The Snowfeather Hunter mount does not work in macros.
