The Predatory Bloodgazer is a falcosaur mount obtained by raising a Bloodgazer Hatchling through a multi-week quest chain introduced in Patch 7.1 of the Legion expansion.
Kill the Bloodgazer Matriarch
In Azsuna, participate in the Bloodgazer world quest and kill the Matriarch. This will cause an orphaned Bloodgazer Hatchling NPC to spawn nearby.
Feed the Hatchling Azsunian Grapes
Interact with the spawned Bloodgazer Hatchling NPC and feed it 
Azsunian Grapes to obtain it as a pet. Vendors near the closest flightpath to the world quest area sell this food, so pick some up before heading out.
Level Your Hatchling to 25
Use your Bloodgazer Hatchling in pet battles to level it up to level 25 before the rest of the quest chain becomes accessible.
Take Hatchling to a Named City
With your Bloodgazer Hatchling summoned, travel to a named city as directed by the quest chain. This is one of the early steps in the multi-week questline.
Defeat Specific Wild Pets
Using your Bloodgazer Hatchling, defeat 3 specific wild pets as directed by the quest. A second set of 3 different wild pets must also be defeated later in the chain.
Complete Zone World Quests
Complete 5 World Quests in a specific zone with your Bloodgazer Hatchling summoned out at all times.
Complete Pet Battle World Quests
Start and complete 3 Pet Battle World Quests with your Bloodgazer Hatchling as the primary pet and kept summoned throughout each battle.
Complete a Rare Elite World Quest
Complete 1 Rare Elite World Quest with your Bloodgazer Hatchling summoned out for the duration.
Complete PVP World Quests
Complete 3 PVP World Quests with your Bloodgazer Hatchling summoned out throughout each one.
Buy an Item in Dalaran
Purchase a specific item for your Bloodgazer Hatchling from a vendor in Dalaran as directed by the quest chain. Upon completing this step you will receive Item #142497 as a reward.
Defeat Pets with Specific Family
Defeat 3 specific wild pets using your Bloodgazer Hatchling alongside 2 pets of a specific pet family, as directed by the quest.
Defeat a Nighthold Dungeon Boss
Enter the Nighthold raid with your Bloodgazer Hatchling summoned and defeat the required boss. At max level you can solo this encounter.
Tips
Each quest in the chain only becomes available after the daily reset following completion of the previous quest, so the full chain takes multiple weeks to finish.
If you hand in a quest on one character, you can pick up the next quest in the chain on a different character that has not yet completed that step.
