Spirit of Eche'ro
The spirit of Huln Highmountain's pet moose.
Acquisition Guide
The
Spirit of Eche'ro is a ghost moose mount obtained through the Archaeology secondary profession by completing a limited-availability quest in Legion.
Check Quest Availability Window
The quest needed for this mount is only available for roughly two weeks every six months. Upcoming availability windows include 05.02.2025–19.02.2025, 06.08.2025–20.08.2025, 04.02.2026–18.02.2026, and 05.08.2026–19.08.2026, continuing on a similar schedule through 2027.
Learn Archaeology in Dalaran
Head to Dalaran (Legion) and locate the Archaeology trainer. If you do not already have Archaeology, learn it from the trainer — you can begin the mount quest at skill level 1.
Pick Up 'The Right Path'
The Archaeology trainer also offers a weekly quest, but it only has a chance to be 'The Right Path' — the specific quest required for this mount. If it is not 'The Right Path' this week, you must wait for the next weekly reset to get a new roll. If you are already on a different Archaeology quest when the weekly resets, the new quest will not appear, so abandon any active Archaeology quest before the reset.
Complete the Quest in Highmountain
Once you have 'The Right Path', travel to Thunder Totem in Highmountain and complete the quest there to earn the Spirit of Eche'ro mount.
Tips
Because the quest only rolls a chance to be 'The Right Path' each week, and the overall availability window lasts only about two weeks per six-month cycle, abandon any active Archaeology quest before the weekly reset during an active window to avoid missing your roll.
