Garn Nighthowl
The garn are the most fierce predators on Draenor, and always hunt in packs.
Acquisition Guide
The Garn Nighthowl is a wolf mount obtained from Nok-Karosh, a level 102 elite in Frostfire Ridge, where a single Bind on Use copy drops at a 100% rate and must be rolled for among all participants.
Travel to Frostfire Ridge
Make your way to Frostfire Ridge and head to Nok-Karosh at 13, 50.4, located far west of Bladespire Fortress and due north of Wor'Gol, where he rests surrounded by level 100 Nighthowl wolves in a snowy, tree-covered area.
Defeat Nok-Karosh
Nok-Karosh is not flagged as a rare spawn and respawns shortly after being killed, so you can attempt the fight repeatedly. Defeat him at 13, 50.4 in Frostfire Ridge to trigger the loot.
Roll Greed on Mount
Only one Garn Nighthowl drops per kill, and all players in the group must roll Greed on it — Master Looter cannot be applied to this item. The mount is Bind on Use, so if you do not win the roll, it can also be found on the Auction House.
Tips
Because Nok-Karosh respawns shortly after being killed and only one mount drops per kill, organizing or joining repeated kill groups increases the number of rolls you can participate in.
