Acquisition Guide

Trained Silverpelt is a talbuk mount earned as a quest reward in Warlords of Draenor by building a Stables in your Garrison, capturing a wild talbuk with a lasso, and completing 12 Talbuk Training quests that involve killing monsters around Draenor while mounted on the talbuk-in-training.

1

Build Your Garrison Stables

Construct a Stables at level 1 or higher in your Garrison. The Stables occupies a Large Plot in your Garrison.

2

Capture a Wild Talbuk

Use a lasso to capture a wild talbuk out in Draenor to begin the Talbuk Training quest chain.

3

Complete Talbuk Training Quests

Complete all 12 Talbuk Training quests by killing monsters around Draenor while mounted on your talbuk-in-training until the mount is fully learned.

Tips

  • Once learned, Trained Silverpelt is permanently yours even if you demolish your Stables — all 6 Trained mounts are kept regardless.

  • The Stables also grants a 20% speed buff and the ability to perform actions without dismounting while leveling, making it worthwhile to build early.
