Acquisition Guide

The Trained Rocktusk is a tan/white boar mount obtained as a quest reward in Warlords of Draenor by building a Stables in your Garrison and completing the Boar Training quest chain.

1

Build Your Garrison Stables

Construct a Stables on a Large Plot in your Garrison. The Stables must be at least level 1 to begin training mounts.

2

Lasso a Wild Boar

Use a lasso to capture a wild boar in Draenor. This initiates the Boar Training quest chain.

3

Complete Boar Training Quests

Ride your boar-in-training and complete all 10 Boar Training quests, which involve killing monsters around Draenor while mounted on the boar.

4

Claim Your Mount

After completing all 10 quests, the Trained Rocktusk is learned. The mount will remain ridable even if you later demolish your Stables.

Tips

  • The brown-colored boar seen during training is not the final mount — the Trained Rocktusk is tan/white. The brown boar is instead obtained through the Steamwheedle Preservation Society.

  • The Trained Rocktusk is one of 6 trained mounts from Warlords of Draenor, and has the most Boar Training quests of the group at 10. See the video guide for a walkthrough: https://youtu.be/QT6K2OWER6A
