Acquisition Guide

The Armored Razorback is obtained by opening a Rattling Iron Cage, which drops from four rare spawns in Tanaan Jungle: Terrorfist, Vengeance, Deathtalon, and Doomroller.

Travel to Tanaan Jungle

Head to Tanaan Jungle and hunt the four rare spawns: Terrorfist, Vengeance, Deathtalon, and Doomroller. Doomroller can be found at 47, 52 in Tanaan Jungle.

Kill All Four Rares

Defeat Terrorfist, Vengeance, Deathtalon, and Doomroller — each has a spawn timer between 1 and 3 hours. Each rare has a chance to drop the Rattling Iron Cage, and you can loot each rare once per character per day, giving you up to four attempts daily.

Open the Rattling Iron Cage

When you receive a Rattling Iron Cage, open it to receive one of three possible mounts: Armored Razorback, Tundra Icehoof, or Warsong Direfang. Each cage guarantees one mount, chosen at random with an equal chance for each.

Tips

  • Each of the four rares can only be looted once per character per day, so running multiple characters through Tanaan Jungle multiplies your daily attempts at the Rattling Iron Cage.

  • When Terrorfist spawns, watch for the chat yell from Frogan about a gronnling heading toward the Rangari Refuge; when Vengeance spawns, Tyrant Velhari yells in chat; and when Doomroller spawns, Siegemaster Mar'tak yells in chat — use these announcements to react quickly to each spawn.
