Acquisition Guide

The Armored Frostboar is a mount reward from the Warlords of Draenor expansion, earned by completing the Advanced Husbandry achievement in Nagrand.

Obtain Black Claw of Sethe

Pick up the Black Claw of Sethe, which spawns on the ground inside your garrison. Note that carrying it reduces your mount-in-training's speed by 25% and increases its damage taken by 25%.

Defeat Gorian Beast-Lasher

While mounted on a mount-in-training and carrying the Black Claw of Sethe, defeat Gorian Beast-Lasher at 79, 71 in Nagrand.

Defeat Thundercall

Still mounted on your mount-in-training, defeat Thundercall at 90, 23 in Nagrand.

Defeat Ironbore

Continue to Ironbore at 53, 77 in Nagrand and defeat it while mounted on your mount-in-training.

Defeat Karak the Great Hunter

Find and defeat Karak the Great Hunter at 69, 34 in Nagrand while mounted on your mount-in-training.

Defeat Remaining Targets

Track down and defeat Maimclaw at 63, 80 and Moth of Wrath at 43, 69 in Nagrand while mounted on your mount-in-training to complete the Advanced Husbandry achievement.

Collect Your Mount

Once Advanced Husbandry is complete, the Armored Frostboar will appear directly in your mount list — it is not mailed to you and does not appear in your bags, so check your mount collection immediately after the achievement completes.
