Acquisition Guide
The Core Hound mount is obtained by completing the 40-man LFR version of Molten Core during WoW's Anniversary events, or purchased from Storekeeper Reginald in Tanaris, and occasionally appears on the Black Market Auction House.
Visit Storekeeper Reginald
During WoW's Anniversary event, head to Storekeeper Reginald at 62.8, 51.0 in Tanaris to purchase the Core Hound mount directly from his vendor inventory.
Queue for Molten Core LFR
An item level of 615 is required to queue for the Anniversary LFR version of Molten Core. Upon completing the raid and defeating Ragnaros, you receive the Core Hound Chain, which teaches the Core Hound mount.
Check the Black Market Auction House
The Core Hound mount has appeared on the Black Market Auction House, so it remains obtainable in-game through that route as well when it surfaces there.
