Travel to Timeless Isle
Make your way to the Timeless Isle, where Huolon, a rare elite Cloud Serpent, patrols above the bridge on the path to Blazing Way.
Wait for Huolon's Spawn
Huolon spawns approximately every 30 to 60 minutes, always at the same location above the bridge on the path to Blazing Way.
Engage and Defeat Huolon
Attack Huolon — you do not need to be in a group to be eligible for loot, as hitting him while solo still gives you a chance at the mount drop.
Loot the Mount
The mount can drop on any kill of the day, not just the first, so there is no daily restriction on the drop chance; if the Reins drop on a character without Cloud Serpent Riding, the mount can still be added to your collection as long as another character on your account has the riding skill trained.
Tips
Huolon can be looted for the mount on multiple kills per day, so there is no need to stop after your first attempt.
