Acquisition Guide

The Reins of the Green Primal Raptor is obtained by looting and hatching a Primal Egg, which drops from Elite Dinosaurs on the Isle of Giants.

1

Farm Elite Dinosaurs

Travel to the Isle of Giants and kill Elite Dinosaurs until a Cracked Primal Egg drops. The egg is unique, so you can only hold one at a time — if another drops while you already have one, you will not see it, though other party members can still loot their own.

2

Wait for Egg to Hatch

The Primal Egg takes time to hatch into a Cracked Primal Egg, which you then loot to receive one of three possible raptors: Reins of the Green Primal Raptor, Reins of the Black Primal Raptor, or Reins of the Red Primal Raptor — each with an equal chance.

3

Repeat for Green Raptor

Each egg guarantees one of the three color variants, but the color is random and the same color can be received multiple times across different eggs, so you may need to farm and hatch several eggs before receiving the Green Primal Raptor specifically.

Tips

  • The Green Primal Raptor was introduced in patch 5.2 alongside the Black, Red, and Bone-White variants, with the Bone-White coming from a separate source.
