Acquisition Guide
The Jeweled Onyx Panther is a crafted mount created by a Jewelcrafter using all four individual colored panthers as materials.
Gather the Four Panthers
You must have all four individual panther mounts — 
Ruby Panther, 
Sapphire Panther, 
Jade Panther, and 
Sunstone Panther — physically in your bags as unlearned items. If you have already learned any of them, you will need to craft additional copies.
Acquire the Colored Gems
Each panther requires 20 of its respective rare gem: 
Primordial Ruby, 
Sun's Radiance, 
Wild Jade, and 
River's Heart. These can be prospected, transmuted from raw materials such as 
Golden Lotus and gems like 
Alexandrite, 
Pandarian Garnet, 
Lapis Lazuli, and 
Sunstone, or purchased from the Auction House.
Craft Living Steel
Each of the four panthers requires 
Living Steel, for a total of 16 Living Steel across all four. An alchemist can transmute Living Steel using 
Trillium Bars, with 96 Trillium Bars needed and one transmute possible per day.
Purchase Orbs of Mystery
Each panther requires one 
Orb of Mystery, costing 
20,000 gold each, for a total of 4 Orbs of Mystery at 80,000 gold combined. Note that Goblin racial discounts do not apply to this item.
Collect Serpent's Eyes
Each panther recipe also requires 
Serpent's Eye gems, totaling 8 Serpent's Eyes across all four panthers.
Craft the Jeweled Onyx Panther
Once all four unlearned panther mounts are in your bags along with the remaining recipe materials, use the 
Design: Jeweled Onyx Panther to craft the Jeweled Onyx Panther. The four panther items are consumed as crafting materials in this process.
