Acquisition Guide
The Frosty Flying Carpet is a blue flying carpet crafted by Tailors using Frozen Orbs and cloth, serving as a Frozen Orb gold sink introduced in patch 3.3.
Obtain the Pattern
Purchase the 
Pattern: Frosty Flying Carpet from a vendor using 6 
Frozen Orbs. Frozen Orbs can be acquired by completing heroic dungeons or purchased from the Auction House.
Gather Crafting Materials
Collect the required materials: 4 Frozen Orbs, 30 
Frostweave Cloth (crafted into 6 Bolts of Frostweave), 6 
Infinite Dust, and 1 Ebonweave, Moonshroud, or Spellweave cloth piece.
Meet Skill Requirements
Ensure your Tailoring skill is at least 425 and that you have Artisan Riding trained before crafting, as both are required to create and use the Frosty Flying Carpet, which flies at 280% speed in Northrend and Outland.
Craft the Mount
Use your Tailoring skill to craft the Frosty Flying Carpet once all materials are gathered; note that this mount is Bind on Pickup and cannot be traded or sold on the Auction House.
Tips
Between the 6 Frozen Orbs for the pattern and 4 for the craft itself, you need a minimum of 10 Frozen Orbs total, which can come from heroic dungeon runs or the Auction House.
