5 Champion's Seal, requiring Exalted reputation with the Darkspear Trolls.
Locate Samamba in Icecrown
Travel to Icecrown and find the vendor Samamba at 76.0, 24.4 to purchase the Swift Purple Raptor.
Purchase the mount
Buy the Swift Purple Raptor from Samamba for 500 Gold and 5 Champion's Seal. You must have Exalted reputation with the Darkspear Trolls to complete this purchase.
Tips
Learning this mount on a Horde character also grants your Alliance characters the Swift Violet Ram.
Allied race characters cannot see this mount on the vendor, so you cannot purchase it on those characters.
This mount is not shared across factions—you must purchase it separately for each faction's characters.
