Mimiron's Head
A token of titan craftsmanship hoarded by the Old God, Yogg-Saron. Currently the single largest mechanical gnome head in Azeroth.
Acquisition Guide
Mimiron's Head is a flying mount shaped like a helicopter that drops from Yogg-Saron in Ulduar, but only when you defeat him without accepting assistance from any of the four Keepers.
Enter Ulduar and Clear Required Bosses
Enter Ulduar and defeat Flame Leviathan and XT-002 Deconstructor outside. If your item level allows you to kill Flame Leviathan without a Demolisher, ride a bike with Speed Boost to reach XT-002 faster.
Defeat Kologarn to Proceed
Head inside and kill Kologarn to open the passage deeper into Ulduar. You do not need to kill every boss — only the ones required to reach Yogg-Saron.
Defeat All Four Keepers
Defeat all four Keepers in the inner sanctum, but do not speak to any of them afterward. Talking to a Keeper causes them to assist you against Yogg-Saron, which will prevent Mimiron's Head from dropping.
Kill Yogg-Saron Without Keeper Help
Go directly to the final room and defeat Yogg-Saron with zero Keepers assisting you — this is the hard mode requirement. Mimiron's Head has a low drop chance of approximately 1% from this encounter.
Reset If a Keeper Was Activated
If you accidentally spoke to a Keeper and they are now assisting you, leave the instance or log out and wait 30 minutes. After that time, all four Keepers will be reset to their positions on the central ring and will no longer be assisting you.
Tips
During Wrath of the Lich King, Mimiron's Head had a 100% drop rate on 25-player hard mode, but as of patch 4.0.3a the drop rate was reduced to approximately 1%.
With Ulduar's Timewalking conversion merging the 10-player and 25-player modes, there is no longer a raid size selection required — you simply must complete the no-Keeper hard mode regardless.
