Purchase the Mammoth
Buy the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth from Mei Francis for 
20,000 Gold, though players with Kirin Tor reputation may pay as little as 16,000 Gold. You must have at least 150 riding skill and the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, though there is no level requirement to be a passenger on the mount.
Tips
The mammoth comes with two on-board vendors — a Gnome offering general goods, repairs, poisons, and reagents, and a Draenei offering general goods, arrows, bullets, and food — and any player, not just your party, can use these vendors.
The mammoth has three seats, but two are occupied by the vendors by default; you can eject a vendor to carry a passenger, but you must dismount and remount to get the vendors back.
Vendor purchases made from the mammoth's on-board vendors do not benefit from the 10% exalted faction discount, so for items like bullets, poisons, and reagents you may save gold by buying from a capital city vendor instead.
