After promising to fly you to the ends of Outland, the netherwing drake was eventually drawn to the blue skies of Azeroth as well.
Acquisition Guide
The Azure Netherwing Drake is a 280% speed flying mount obtained as a quest reward in Shattrath City, Outland, after reaching Exalted reputation with the Netherwing faction through daily quests on Netherwing Ledge in Shadowmoon Valley.
Start Netherwing Reputation Grind
Travel to Netherwing Ledge in Shadowmoon Valley and begin completing daily quests to earn Netherwing faction reputation. Each daily quest awards 250 reputation, and you must reach Exalted to unlock the Azure Netherwing Drake.
Complete A Slow Death Daily
Pick up the daily quest A Slow Death on Netherwing Ledge, which rewards 250 reputation. Collect 12 Fel Glands from nether rays on the ledge, then use them along with the provided quest item to poison the orcs working around the ledge.
Complete Netherdust Pollen Daily
If you are an herbalist, complete the Netherdust Pollen daily quest for 250 reputation by gathering 40 pollen from netherdust bushes found around Netherwing Ledge. Note that equivalent profession-specific dailies also exist for miners and skinners.
Complete Netherwing Crystal Daily
Complete the Netherwing Crystal daily quest for 250 reputation by collecting 40 Netherwing Crystals, which drop from flayers on the ledge and from mobs inside the mines south of the encampment, including the fallen enemies at the back of the mine.
Purchase Drake at Exalted
Once you reach Exalted with the Netherwing faction, visit Drake Dealer Hurlunk at 65.4, 85.8 in Shadowmoon Valley to purchase the Azure Netherwing Drake for 
200 gold. Hurlunk will only speak with you once you have reached Exalted standing.
Tips
The Azure Netherwing Drake shares its color with the netherwhelps commonly found throughout the game, making it the only Netherwing drake to match that appearance.
