Acquisition Guide
The Purple Hawkstrider is a Horde mount sold by Winaestra in Eversong Woods, just east of the entrance to Silvermoon City, for 
1 Gold, requiring a riding skill of 75 and Exalted with Silvermoon City for non-Blood Elf characters.
Locate Winaestra in Eversong Woods
Find Winaestra just east of the entrance to Silvermoon City in Eversong Woods. If your character is not a Blood Elf, you must reach Exalted reputation with Silvermoon City before she will sell you the mount.
Purchase the Purple Hawkstrider
Buy the Purple Hawkstrider from Winaestra for 1 Gold. Your character must have a riding skill of 75, which as of Patch 3.2 is obtainable at level 20 for 5 Gold in training costs — bringing the total to 6 Gold before any faction discounts.
Tips
The Purple Hawkstrider increases movement speed by 60% and is one of several Hawkstrider mounts sold by Winaestra alongside the Red, Blue, Black, Swift Pink, Swift Green, and Swift Purple Hawkstriders.
