Locate the mount vendor
Find Tannec Stonebeak in Stormwind City or visit the Exotic Mount Vendor in Dalaran to purchase this gryphon.
Purchase Swift Purple Gryphon
Buy the mount for 200 Gold. If you are exalted with Kirin Tor reputation, you will receive a 20% discount when purchasing from the vendor in Dalaran.
Tips
This gryphon travels at 100% speed on land and 280% speed in the air.
As of patch 4.2, this mount can swim underwater and is usable in dungeons and battlegrounds.
