10 Gold, requiring Exalted reputation with Darnassus and 150 Riding Skill.
Reach Exalted with Darnassus
Earn Exalted reputation with Darnassus through quests and activities. If you are a Night Elf, you may have reduced reputation gains. Non-Night Elf characters require this reputation to purchase the mount.
Obtain 150 Riding Skill
Purchase the riding skill from a riding trainer. As of Patch 3.2, this skill can be obtained at level 40 and costs 50 Gold.
Purchase from Lelanai
Visit Lelanai, the vendor in Darnassus, and purchase the Swift Frostsaber for 10 Gold. This mount increases movement speed by 100%.
