Acquisition Guide
The Winterspring Frostsaber is a mount obtained as a quest reward in Winterspring by raising a Winterspring Cub over a minimum of 20 days and completing daily quests for Rivern Frostwind.
Start the Main Quest
Find Rivern Frostwind at 46.64, 17.69 in Winterspring to pick up the main quest, which tasks you with raising a Winterspring Cub. Set your hearthstone to Everlook to save travel time on daily visits.
Complete One Daily Quest
Each day, your Winterspring Cub will offer you one daily quest. You can only receive and complete one of these quests per day, and completing it rewards you with a Winterspring Cub Whisker.
Collect 20 Cub Whiskers
Repeat the daily quest each day until you have collected 20 Winterspring Cub Whiskers. This process takes no fewer than 20 days to complete.
Hand In to Rivern Frostwind
Return to Rivern Frostwind at 46.64, 17.69 in Winterspring and turn in your 20 Winterspring Cub Whiskers along with 20 Rugged Leather, 20 Runecloth, and 
80 gold to receive your fully grown Winterspring Frostsaber.
Tips
If you earn the Winterspring Frostsaber on an Alliance character, your Horde characters on the same account will automatically receive a Venomhide Ravasaur.
If an Alliance character with this mount is transferred to Horde via a faction transfer, the Winterspring Frostsaber will be replaced by a Venomhide Ravasaur.
