Breath of Blight is the decayed green-black skyfang awarded automatically by Midnight Keystone Master: Season 2. Reach at least 2,000 Mythic+ rating during Season 2 by timing keys across the eight-dungeon pool; the threshold is fixed, but the exact key levels needed depend on timing and affix performance.
Confirm Season 2 is active
Open Group Finder → Premade Groups → Dungeons and confirm the Mythic+ panel says Midnight Season 2. Mythic 0 runs do not award Mythic+ rating.
Cover the full dungeon pool
Build scores in Altar of Fangs, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale, Voidscar Arena, King's Rest, Ruby Life Pools, and Temple of Sethraliss. A missing dungeon leaves a large rating gap; prioritize empty or lowest-scoring rows first.
Time progressively higher keys
Complete keys before the timer expires to earn the strongest rating gains. Both key level and completion speed affect score, while an over-time clear usually awards less. Use the Mythic+ tab after every run to identify the easiest score upgrade.
Balance all eight scores
Do not push only one favorite dungeon. Raise the lowest entries until the total approaches 2,000; a broadly completed set of timed keys is more reliable than hoping one very high key compensates for several blanks.
Cross 2,000 during the season
When the Mythic+ panel shows 2,000 or higher, Midnight Keystone Master: Season 2 completes and awards Breath of Blight. If the displayed total rounds to 2,000 without triggering, finish another scoring run to move clearly above the threshold.
Verify the reward
Search Collections → Mounts for Breath of Blight, the sickly green-black wind serpent. The 3,000-rating Breath of Ruin is a separate reward and does not replace this one.
Tips
Prioritize your lowest dungeon score for the largest predictable gains.
The achievement expires with Season 2; complete the rating before the seasonal reset.
