The Battle-Bound Warhound is a mount that drops from the elite bosses of the Theater of Pain world event in Maldraxxus.

Travel to Maldraxxus

Head to Maldraxxus in the Shadowlands and locate the Theater of Pain area where the elite bosses spawn.

Kill Elite Bosses

Enter the Theater of Pain and defeat the elite bosses — there are up to four bosses available to kill, each in rotation, and each can potentially drop the Battle-Bound Warhound.

Understand the Daily Lockout

The drop appears to be tied to a daily lockout — a significant number of players who received the mount got it on their very first boss kill of the day, and further kills on the same day did not produce additional drops for those same players.

Return the Next Day

If no mount dropped, reset the following day and kill the first available elite boss again, as the lockout refreshes daily.
