Enter Mogu'shan Vaults

Travel to Mogu'shan Vaults and defeat Elegon. The mount can drop on both 10-man and 25-man difficulty, in both Normal and Heroic modes.

Loot Cache of Pure Energy

After defeating Elegon, loot the Cache of Pure Energy. The Astral Cloud Serpent has a very low drop rate, and the mount does not drop in LFR difficulty.

Note the Extra Roll

Elder Charms of Good Fortune cannot be used to obtain this mount — there is no chance of receiving it through an extra roll.

Cloud Serpent Riding Skill

You can loot the Astral Cloud Serpent even without the Cloud Serpent Riding skill, but you will not be able to mount it until you obtain that skill.
