Returning Champion is a heirloom trinket looted from the Darkmoon Arena treasure chest after earning the Master Pit Fighter achievement.

Win 12 Darkmoon Arena matches

Compete in the Darkmoon Arena on Darkmoon Island and achieve victory 12 times to earn the Master Pit Fighter achievement.

Loot the arena chest

Return to the Darkmoon Arena treasure chest on the character that earned the Master Pit Fighter achievement and loot it a 13th time to obtain Returning Champion.

Tips

  • You must use the same character that earned the Master Pit Fighter achievement to loot the heirloom; the achievement is account-wide but the loot is character-specific.

  • The experience bonus from Returning Champion stacks additively with Defending Champion and other heirloom experience bonuses.

  • The Pit Fighter trinket also appears in the chest alongside the heirloom on your 13th loot.
