Hellscream's Decapitator (Heroic)
Hellscream's Decapitator is a two-handed axe Heirloom that scales from level 90 to 100 and is obtained as a drop from Garrosh Hellscream in Siege of Orgrimmar on Heroic difficulty.
Enter Siege of Orgrimmar
Set the raid difficulty to Heroic and enter Siege of Orgrimmar. As a max-level player you can solo the entire raid to reach Garrosh Hellscream.
Defeat Garrosh Hellscream
Defeat Garrosh Hellscream, the final boss of Siege of Orgrimmar on Heroic difficulty. As of patch 5.4.6, players who have not yet obtained this Heirloom have a 100% chance for it to drop.
Note the Level Scaling
Hellscream's Decapitator scales from level 90 to 100, meaning it cannot be used on lower-level characters. Based on the scaling formula, the Heroic version increases in item level by approximately 7 item levels at a time as you level, finishing at item level 633 at level 100. It is also notable that the Normal difficulty version starts 8 item levels higher than other Normal-tier drops from the same raid.
Tips
Two-handed Frost Death Knights are among the specs that can equip and benefit from this axe during the 90–100 leveling range.
