Hellscream's Razor (Heroic)

Before defeating Garrosh Hellscream, set your Loot Specialization to an Agility DPS spec. Your first Heirloom weapon drop from Garrosh is guaranteed to match your selected Loot Specialization, so this is your best opportunity to receive Hellscream's Razor directly.

Enter Siege of Orgrimmar and defeat Garrosh Hellscream on Normal difficulty or higher — the Heroic difficulty version of Hellscream's Razor is the focus of this guide. The weapon will automatically be placed into your bag if you win it, similar to how LFR loot is distributed.

As of Patch 6.0, players who have not yet received any Heirloom weapon from Garrosh on Normal difficulty or higher have a 100% guaranteed chance of receiving a spec-appropriate Heirloom on their first qualifying kill. Chances for additional Heirloom drops beyond the first were also increased in that patch.

After your first Heirloom weapon from Garrosh, any subsequent Heirloom drops are randomized and are not influenced by your class, spec, or Loot Specialization, so additional runs may yield other weapons from the series such as Hellscream's Warmace, Hellscream's Pig Sticker, Hellscream's Doomblade, or Hellscream's Tome of Destruction.

Hellscream's Razor scales as you level and will reach a maximum item level of 633. On the Heroic difficulty version specifically, the item level increases by an average of 6 levels at a time as you gain levels between 90 and 100.
