Tips
This item does NOT count toward the Freedom of the Alliance achievement — you must separately purchase a regular Insignia or Medallion to complete that achievement.
As of Patch 4.2, this item automatically switches between Alliance and Horde versions when mailed cross-faction on the same account and server.
At level 70, a standard Insignia or Medallion with a 2-minute cooldown becomes available and is superior, though keeping both is valid since they share a cooldown and the Inherited version still provides resilience.
Resilience on this item has no PvE utility since Cataclysm, but it remains worthwhile if you are leveling through Battlegrounds.
Even if you play a Human and rely on your PvP racial ability, this trinket is still worth using since racial abilities have historically been adjusted frequently.
