Powermonger: Gold
Complete The Real Race with the Powermonger within 11 tolls.
Powermonger: Gold requires completing The Real Race with the Powermonger within 11 tolls, rewarding the Gaze of the Darkmoon toy upon completion.
Store a Speed Buff
Before entering the gate, use Battery (your ability 2) at 43, 86.7 to soak and store the nearby speed buff instead of consuming it immediately. This gives you a stored powerup to begin the race with an advantage.
Launch Out of Gate
At 42.2, 86.6 press ability 1 immediately as you leave the starting gate to launch forward toward the first section of the course.
Use Your Stored Speed Buff
At 37, 83.5 press Battery again (ability 2) to immediately consume your stored speed buff, carrying momentum through this stretch of the race.
Hit the Speed Buff
At 34.9, 81.7 run directly over this speed buff to pick it up and maintain your pace through the next section.
Position for Spring and Gate
At 33.3, 80 stand in this specific position so that you can hit both the spring and the gate together without losing tolls on this segment.
Fly to Next Speed Boost
At 31.7, 76.3 press ability 1 to fly toward the next speed boost ahead, keeping your toll count low through this part of the course.
Soak the Powerup
At 28.6, 71.1 press ability 2 to soak this powerup using Battery, storing it for use later in the race rather than letting it affect you immediately.
Run to the Next Position
At 27.7, 68.2 run directly to this position without stopping, keeping your movement tight to avoid accumulating extra tolls in this section.
Spring Jump Toward Next Waypoint
At 26.6, 66.9 use the spring jump while facing the direction of the next waypoint to carry your momentum forward efficiently.
Fly to the Water Spring
At 27.9, 63 press ability 1 to fly to the spring, which allows you to reach the next gate located in the water without losing time.
Finish the Race
At 27.8, 56.7 complete the final section of the race. After finishing, review your toll count per segment — the race is split into four parts (Blue, Green, Red, Orange), and if you are finishing with 12 tolls, you are likely losing extra tolls in the first and last segments, so focus corrections there.
Tips
Battery works by granting a buff that stores the next powerup you touch within four seconds instead of activating it on you. Pressing Battery a second time immediately uses the stored powerup. A stored powerup can be held indefinitely.
If a run goes poorly, store a Battery powerup just before the finish line so your next attempt starts with a powerup already in hand without spending an extra token.
The race is divided into four scored segments. If your total tolls reach 12, compare your per-segment toll counts and identify which segment is over budget to target your improvement.
